Tommy Hall, San Felipe Del Rio Consolidated Independent School District interim superintendent, addressed Rotary Club of Del Rio members, Tuesday (Oct. 7), providing observations gleaned from his three-month assignment here as the district’s Board of Trustees navigated through the process of selecting a permanent replacement for former superintendent, Roberto “Bobby” Fernandez.

May 13 from 7-9 p.m. MUFON (Mutual UFO Network) will
meet in the Sunblossom Room of Ramada. We will discuss historical
alleged sightings/crashes in and around Del Rio. We will be presenting
old cases including the Col. Willingham alleged sighting of a crash
near Del Rio/Langtry. We will also discuss and view The Day After
Roswell. Free and Open to the Public. Bring your curiosity and a

The Val Verde County Democratic State Delegates and
Alternates will meet on May 13 at 6:30 p.m. at 211 Lowe Dr. (behind the
Bedell Post Office). The meeting is open to all Democrats and
