City has lost its mind

"A literary award for short story fiction" is how Mr Kusenberger in todays DRNH (Wed.27th) describes the author of the headline story of the DRNH( Sun. 24th.). The trouble is that author is the lead attorney for the city of Del Rio in the law suite involving Mr. Kusenbergers company, Pico Aviation. Pico was accused of not wanting or trying to settle the disagreements between Pico and our city, among other things. In todays DRNH (Wed. 27th.), Pico produced an e mail showing that Mr. Kusenberger did indeed want to meet and try to settle their disagreement, only to be turned down by our city attorney. The judge in this case has said there is no way to calculate the amount of damages done in this case. Add this insult and lie on top of that and no telling what us taxpayers are going to get stuck with. It is obvious the city has lost its mind, like a rabid dog, over getting Pico off the airport. Having the lead attorney for the city lying in a public form,(DRNH Sun. 24th.) should be cause for disbarment from practicing law. Del Rio citizens deserve better than this from our elected officials. At least try to be honest with the public and not lie to us.
