Diversions Galore

By Amor Patriae - Posted on July 18th, 2008

Well, since I can't post a poll I have to ask this here. Which movies if any are on your horizon for this summer and beyond?

Batman The Dark Night
The Hulk
Walle
Don't mess with the Zohan
Hancock
Hellboy II The Golden Army
The X Files
The Mummy Tomb of the Dragon Emperor
Harry Potter in Nov
Quantum of Solice [The new 007 Movie]in Nov
There is a remake of The day the Earth Stood Still coming up in Dec.

I gotta tell ya the Movie industry is going to get their pound of flesh from me this year.
So far I've seen the Hulk, Zohan, Walle, Hancock and Hellboy. And you bet I have my tickets for Batman this weekend.

For more stories like this, see these categories:

I saw Hancock and well, I'm

I saw Hancock and well, I'm not impressed. It's a rental. Without sounding too much like either Siskel or Ebert I couldn't get into the film. There were a few "hey that's neat moments" but there were more of those "I'm looking at my cell phone to see what time it was" moments. I say rent it that way you can fast forward through the bad parts.

Don't mess with the Zohan was simply hilarious. I left the theater with a roaring headache from laughing. Of course you have to be into that type of what I call [obvious comedy]. If you aren't don't go. Also the movie would have been much better if I hadn't had to see Adam Sandler's unclothed rear, UGH.

Well I just saw The Dark

Well I just saw The Dark Knight and I loved it. I have to say that it was more of a psychological thriller than it was an action movie though. Oh don't get me wrong there was some serious action but I really enjoyed the mind bending it gave. Oh and if any of you go get the X large popcorn because the movie is loooong. That was not and I repeat not a short movie.
Oh and there was a part of the movie that brought me to tears :( sob!!

They also showed a preview for The Day the Earth Stood Still. It's looking like it's going to be a good one as well.
