5th Annual Youth Financial Camp at BFCU

Border Federal Credit Union will be hosting its “5th Annual Youth Financial Summer Camp” on the week of July 14-17, 2008. The primary goal of Border Federal Credit Union’s Youth Financial Camp is to introduce local youth ages 14-18 to the financial service environment. Interested youth must choose the morning session (9:00 a .m. – 1200 noon) or afternoon session (2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.). We guarantee they will have fun and win prizes while exploring topics such as: savings accounts, checking accounts, internet banking, job searching, loan applications, credit reports, business etiquette and many other financial subject topics. The intention of the Camp is to educate our Youth for the future. The camp will be held at BFCU’s main office on 2211 N. Bedell Ave. A graduation ceremony and a certificate of accomplishment will be granted at the end of the Youth Financial Summer Camp 2008.

We are asking for a donation to support this event and make it a big success. This donation will benefit our Financial Summer camp by purchasing prizes & snacks given through the summer camp. We owe much of our success in the past to the assistance of organizations like yours and hope we can count on your support for our youth communities.
