The Wild, Wild West Independence Day Rodeo will be Friday July 4th & 5th at the Val Verde County Fairgrounds. Gates open at 7 p.m. Sponsored by: RAM COUNTRY DODGE, U.S. BORDER PATROL, T.J. MOORE LUMBER, CENTURY 21, SUL ROSS, BRENDA HUNTER AND ASSOCIATES, RAMADA INN, AMISTAD BANK, BUD LIGHT, THE BANK AND TRUST, AND THE DEL RIO ROTARY CLUB. Featured Entertainment: Slim Garner renowned PRCA Rodeo Comedian and Barrel Clown and his crazy " Cowboy Cadillac " For the Kids: Scoop Race, Calf Scramble, Stickhorse Race, Mutton Busting Ticket Venues:Del Rio Feed, Sam's Boot Corral, TJ Moore Lumber, Border Federal Credit Union and Ramada Inn
