Looking for Model Railroaders/Railfans
I moved here back in Febaurary and so far have not found anyone who does any model railroading or knows of anybody who does model railroading. I am in the Air Force and live on the base so I am unable to have a model train layout of my own, so I am looking for anyone who might have a layout and be willing to let me come over and run some trains. It would be great if there was a club or something here in town to be able to meet and run our trains. I really enjoy this hobby and hope to meet someone else who also enjoys this. Even if you dont have a layout but enjoy model trains or just watching the real ones go by, drop me a line. I am a HO scale Union Pacific modeler and I am in hog heaven down here watching the trains go by. I would love to be able to take a cab ride over the Pecos river someday.
Hope to hear from somebody who also does model trains.

Hey, wasn't there a business
Hey, wasn't there a business downtown that had a pretty large train setup in their window for quite a while? Or have I finally gone off the end of the senility diving board? Wait, don't answer that last bit :)

Hey, Boomer. Contact Mark Lamb. He's a major railrod aficionado and might be able to put you on the right track. If you can't find him in the 'phone book (lives on Whitefeather), you can leave a message for him at the high school, where he teaches government and history.
