Missing Firehouse Bell
By kmoore - Posted on June 5th, 2008
The original Firehouse (the art gallery) Bell is missing. It had been housed in the Firehouse for years and was going to be used for a small museum memorial to the original Firehouse. It's departure was discovered a few months ago, and we have been searching for it ever since. If you have any knowledge of the whereabouts of this historical bell please call us at 830-775-0888, no questions asked. It is very important to us that it is safely returned. Help us capture a piece of Del Rio history, do not let this treasure go unfound. Thank you for your help.

Hey has anone checked out
Hey has anone checked out the bells at the high school, Soccer Field, Football Field. I think it was some bells there but I have no idea where they came from...
But did anyone give the old bell to the Fire Department? Might ask...FBS
I sure hope we can find this
I sure hope we can find this thing. Has anyone checked with the scrap yards that buy metal to see if they've seen anything like it?
Sorry if this sounds a little callus but if that thing was made out of "brass" and considering peoples/thieves voraciousness [of late] for copper, someone probably thought they got the copper mother load and hauled it off.
