April Activities at the Firehouse -Classes, Lectures & workshops: April 10th-14th
April 10th 6 pm- San Felipe Creek Project Kickoff: Learn about our creek and the local environment, scientist Dan and Christine Foley will give a lecture with interesting information and educator Marta Gonzalez-Stitts will explain how this science project is related to the arts. We will have refreshments, as well as registration for lots of free classes. You can learn how to make silver clay jewelry, botanical paper, clay mosaics, batik, and more! FREE to the public. All supplies provided.
April 11th 12 to 2 pm - Italian Luncheon in the Historical Firehouse Engine Room. We will be serving minestrone soup, fresh garden salad, freshly baked bread, and cheese ravioli. (Vegetarian Friendly!) Tickets are only $6. The meal will be accompanied by Italian music and a brief lecture about Italian food. Buy your tickets at the Firehouse in advance! Space is limited.
April 12th, 1 to 3 pm - A cutting edge technique purse making workshop at the Firehouse. Learn how to make a purse from placemats! Only $15, includes tuition and supplies. Call to reserve your spot today. 830-775-0888
