Show your photography in the Firehouse Gallery! All entries are due by Feb. 1st

f/22 Open Juried Exhibition The Del Rio Council for the Arts at the Firehouse Gallery announces a call to all photographers for the 2nd Annual F/22 Open Juried Photography Exhibit, held March 7, 2008. Submissions for the show will be accepted from now until Friday, February 1, 2008. Works of art must be given in a digital format. CD is preferred, but disk, flash drive, email, etc is accepted. If an entry is emailed, artist must pay entry fee over the phone. Entry is not limited to citizens of Del Rio, TX. There is no limit to the amount of a single artist's submissions. No names may be apparent anywhere on artwork. With each entry please include a separate sheet with artist's name, phone number and title of work(s). Entry fee per submission is $5. Judges are Adran Matte and Mike Guardiola. Adran Matte is a Studio Art Photography graduate from Texas State University and has several years of professional photography experience working with Gary Russ Studios in Austin, TX and currently, as a Dell Product Photographer. Mike Guardiola graduated from Texas State with a Studio Art Photography degree. He currently works as a photographer and has shown at various galleries. He also works at Texas State University's Art & Design Department as an Assistant Computer Lab Coordinator. Artists of selected photos will be notified on Tuesday, February 5, 2008. Framed editions of photos will be shown during the month of March. A reception for the show, open to the community, will be held at First Friday on March 7, 2008. Artists will also receive a certificate honoring their selection.
