East Side Elementary will be having its last
Parental Meeting of the year on May 13 at 9 a.m. in the Library
Conference Room. Our presentation will be on Drug Awareness, Recognize
the signs, our speaker will be Mrs. A. Martinez (Counselor). All
parents from kinder to 5th are encouraged to attend this informational
meeting. Prizes will be raffled and drinks will be served. Any

The Val Verde County Democratic State Delegates and
Alternates will meet on May 13 at 6:30 p.m. at 211 Lowe Dr. (behind the
Bedell Post Office). The meeting is open to all Democrats and
Independents. All Democrats and Independents welcome.

May 13 from 7-9 p.m. MUFON (Mutual UFO Network) will
meet in the Sunblossom Room of Ramada. We will discuss historical
alleged sightings/crashes in and around Del Rio. We will be presenting
old cases including the Col. Willingham alleged sighting of a crash
near Del Rio/Langtry. We will also discuss and view The Day After
Roswell. Free and Open to the Public. Bring your curiosity and a

Garfield Elementary School will be having its last
PTO meeting of 2007-2008 on May 13 at 7 p.m. in the school cafeteria.
The Garfield Choir, under the direction of Mrs. Mari Rodriguez, will be
delighting us with some songs. All parents are invited to attend.
Prizes will follow.

The 6th grade campus will be holding a UIL recognition and Music Concert at 7 p.m. on May 13 at the civic center.
